Stock Trading Game Plan During Coronavirus Scare
Welcome to Smart Money Alerts for Friday March 6, 2020.
The stock market continues to see heavy coronavirus selling but for smart traders there are opportunities to create a winning game plan.
COST reported earnings that beat, but the stock is trading lower today. In today's episode of Stocks for Breakfast I game plan COST today to look for a test of yesterday's low as a potential spot to buy.
Certain sectors are seeing persistent selling without a bounce such as airlines and cruise lines. The short side is the line of least resistance but I suggest keeping a tracking journal for some of these to buy WHEN coronavirus is eradicated.
For longs today we reviewed sector performance over the last week and found opportunities in health care stocks. In today's video I show you how to scan for these trades and we whittled down 915 stocks to the 19 that fit strict criteria.
Day trading remains the play of the day. I'm staying away from swing trade calls until we get back to stability.
Towards the end of today's video I demonstrate how to set up trades with high probability of success and how to know when to stay in cash.
Plenty of opportunity out there if you are nimble and disciplined.
Have a great weekend!
Pete
