Carnival (NYSE:CCL), Norwegian Cruise Line (NYSE:NCLH), and Royal Caribbean Cruises (NYSE:RCL) advanced Monday thanks to positive pandemic news from PFE Pfizer.

Is it time to buy these stocks based on the news? Yes, but with a plan.

One day of outstanding news doesn't justify a full position. Smart trading requires we build a position as we get more feedback from the market. There's plenty of profit potential back to the levels of January 2020.

BYND got smashed, rallied, then got smashed again after-hours. I'm planning to day trade this stock today taking advantage of the increase volume and volatility.

Financial stocks and casino stocks also exploded out of trading ranges, but I'm not building positions here. Price action needs to confirm smart money follow through before thinking long term.

As mentioned yesterday I'm expecting profit taking after the euphoric buying and I'm looking to short sell the "stay at home stocks such as ZM, W, and OSTK.
