The stock market rallied hard into Thursday's close on New Years Eve and today we're seeing early follow through.

Electric vehicle stocks are in play this week as both NIO and XPEV provided good news over the last few days. NIO DAY is scheduled for January 9th, 2020.

Neither stock has the obvious order flow or clean tape from a few months ago so that means this week's trade management will be different.

WDC and MU both broke out to new highs last week setting up new swing trades after impressive "energy" candlestick patterns.

Both V and MA traded "will bid" momentum but hit summer time resistance, so I'm looking for both stocks to pause here for a day or two before a new swing trade.

LYFT keeps knocking on $50, today we're creating a trading game plan to wait for a strong close above this level before entering a new position.
